Teaching kids is our passion at Great Start Karate! Our inspirational classes are specifically designed for kids ages 5 to 11. We provide the solution you need to keep your kids healthy and happy. Parents appreciate the balance of fun and structure our instructors bring to each class. Kids love our weekly themes where they learn about their world while doing karate on Mars, in the Amazon Jungle, and even Under the Sea! And at the heart of our program is our robust Life Skill program. We present a new Life Skill every week, such as respect, focus, and courage. Kids complete challenges, demonstrating the life skill at home, at school and in their karate class.

Our instructors are inspirational and FUN! There are so many important skills we are able to teach kids because they are in the right frame of mind to learn. Studies show that kids learn best when they are having fun. So, at Great Start Karate, we have the unique opportunity to teach valuable life skills such as respect, focus, confidence and self-discipline.
CONNECTING WITH LIKE-MINDED KIDS
Your kids’ friends aren’t the main concern anymore when it comes to influence and character development. Now you have to worry about all the negative and harmful influences that the internet can introduce into your children’s lives. Or, other kids in your child’s life who has been negatively influenced.
In our classes, kids learn to respect each other. Together, they learn that showing focus, trying hard and being disciplined is COOL! There is no competition as with other sports. Each child is encouraged to try their best in our supportive environment.
FITNESS DISGUISED
Many kids aren’t getting enough regular exercise.
Our martial arts classes will keep your child moving! That’s because classes are jam packed with activities, games and drills that are all designed to disguise exercise and the repetition of training.
It’s important for kids to exercise regularly, but most kids hate boring, typical exercise programs. Our karate classes teach kids the importance of exercise at a young age so they can grow into healthy adults.

Great Start Karate offers the best online martial arts program for kids! Many parents love having their kids attend karate classes from the convenience of their homes. Classes are offered on an unlimited basis.

Tuition includes unlimited attendance!
$79 per month – first child
$39 per month – each additional sibling
Kids love to wear their karate uniform to class! But they do not need a uniform to attend the Free Trial. There is a large selection of uniforms on Amazon.
We offer a free 30 minute private lesson and a free week of unlimited classes for new students to try our karate program.
Register today and we can begin to share the wonderful world of the martial arts with your child. After the trial, you will have the opportunity to enroll for ongoing classes.
We do not require contracts. Tuition is remitted on a month-to-month basis. Members may cancel at any time.
Yes! Students test at the end of each month, showing all that they have learned! Student change belt colors every three months. There is no fee for the monthly testing.
